Low self-esteem and lack of confidence can manifest in many ways, from self-doubt
and social anxiety to difficulty asserting our needs or pursuing opportunities.
Conny Koenderink Counselling understands that feelings of low self-esteem can come
from deep seated negative believes about ourselves and the kind of person we are. It is
a common problem for many people and can occur as part of a current problem (e.g.
depression) or because of other problems (e.g. chronic illness or relationship issues) or
it can be a problem in itself. Either way, the good news is, that we can take steps toward
developing healthier self-esteem and confidence, which will contribute to our overall wellbeing and help us lead a more fulfilling life.
