This initial consult allows you to tell me a little bit about what is going on for you and ask questions about how I work and how I might be able to help you. This can give a sense of what it will be like talking with me, and we will get a sense of whether we are a good fit for each other. If either of us feels I might not be the right therapist for you, I can provide you with a referral to another therapist or another resource, if that is what you would like.

Counselling sessions at Conny Koenderink Counselling are guided by you and your needs. This is your time and space to receive all the attention, feel heard and understood, and gain support for the issues that are important for you.
Prior to our first session, I will send you my counselling agreement and privacy policy, which informs you about your rights and responsibilities as my client. You can send the signed form back to me prior to our session or bring it with you on the day of our first appointment.
